ABANDONED MINDS

ABANDONADA MENTE is an immersive show forsite specificwith a strong component of visual and auditory elements. The project was born out of a mutual interest in an artistic collaboration between performance artist Rui Paixão and choreographer Brandon Lagaert, fusing the world and inner logic of circus, dance and theatre. This hybrid of different art forms and interests is exactly what connects KAIHO and Holy Clowns, together with the search for a cinematographic aesthetic that in itself conveys the atmosphere, the need or lack of words, the body as the focal point of the performance, the narrative as a macro objective without the need for linearity and the desire to delve into the depths of human depravity.
