Daniel Cardeira

Plastic Artist

Daniel Cardeira is a visual artist, illustrator and art historian. Born in 1992 grew up
between the villages of Corte do Pinto and Mina de São Domingos. In 2015 he graduated from
Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and in 2020 he completed the
Master's degree in Art History, Heritage and Visual Culture at the University of Letters of
Faculty of Porto.
His field of work crosses drawing, painting, photography, installation and performance. THE
his artistic research focuses above all on the relationship of the body with the cultural landscape and
Natural.
As a visual artist, he has exhibited in recent years in Lisbon, Faro, Mértola, Porto and São Paulo.
It currently promotes, together with the community, various activities of plastic expression and
drawing in partnership with Casa das Artes Mário Elias in Mértola.
