Daniela Reis
Painter
Daniela Reis is a painter and collaborates artistically and pedagogically with Theater and Dance companies and with institutions linked to mental health and education.
Her painting is figurative and unfolds questioning and creating a social and emotional space.
She holds a Master's and a Degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon, participated in several collective and individual exhibitions in Portugal, India and Morocco, with the support of the Camões Institute and the Portuguese Embassy.
In 2021, she presents the individual exhibition “O Silêncio e a Multidão”, in Lisbon, is selected for the Exhibition “Prémio Internacional de Artes Plásticas da Cidade da Guarda” and for the “International Art Biennial of Espinho”.
She collaborates with the experimental poetry collective wr3ad1ng d1g1t5, presenting at the Electronic Literature Organization's Conference and Festival, at the University of Bergen. Still in 2021, she published an Author's Book entitled "O Silêncio e a Multidão", exhibited at the India International Center and her work "Os indígenas da Meia Praia" is the cover of Stênio Gardel's book, "A Palavra que Resta", edited by Companhia das Letras, in Brazil.
