He is currently part of the cast of the new show by Marlene Monteiro Freitas, "Lulu", in a co-production Wiener Festwochen and MusikTheater an der Wiencom with premiere scheduled for May in Austria and is preparing a new co-creation with Brandon Lagaert to be presented at Projeto Malacate . Rui Paixão graduated in theater at ACE in Porto (2011-2014). It develops a work of investigation and experimentation of new possibilities for the language of physical theater and the new circus (discipline of new clown) with a focus on artistic creation for the public space. His recent collaboration with the space Les SUBS (Lyon, FR) which produced his latest creation KINSKI, his participation in the LEME festival as a supported artist where he premiered ALBANO (2021), the joint creation with Ricardo Neves-Neves premiered at the S. Luiz municipal theater HAMSTER CLOWN (2021) and the integration as original creator in Cirque du Soleil (2019/2020) that made him live in China for more than a year. He collaborated as a performer or co-creator with names such as Adam Read, Hugo Bélanger, Radar 360ª, Visões Úteis, Julieta Aurora dos Santos, John Romão, Miguel Moreira, Joana Providência and David Alexandre. He took over the artistic direction and staging of Circo Coliseu Porto Ageas 2022 in the city of Porto.
