June was the month of Street Art at Mina de S.Domingos. Tamara Alves and Pøbel were the artists who took charge of MALACATE, having been in residence at Mina de São Domingos throughout the month of June. I Was Here I'll Be Here, was the name given to this activity that resulted in two wonderful murals, the result of the dialogue between the two artists - one Portuguese and one Norwegian -, the mining town of Røros and the community of Mina de São Domingos.

This residency also included the realization of a street art workshop that aimed to make known the process of an artist until reaching a wall in the street, from drawing to mural, through collective or individual exercises that are normally inseparable, but that these are the exercises that will provide the basis for an idea to be successfully expressed in the public space. This workshop, called "Fora das Margens", which took place on the 10th and 11th of June, brought together a group of very motivated participants who had fun doing some drawing and creativity exercises, preparing the stencil for the painting of the mural that took place in the second day of the workshop and which now embellishes one of the walls of the building that houses the local Post Office, with a beautiful lynx, one of the iconic animals of this region.
