May 13th was a very special night: Malacate opened the doors of the Cineteatro for the public to watch the films Cordão Verde and Terra, by directors Hiroatsu Suzuki and Rossana Torres. It has been 40 years since this place received the seventh art and the public filled the room, proving that there is a great desire to see cinema in Mina de S. Domingos.
And the night was even more special because we had the great pleasure of welcoming the two directors, who watched this projection with us.
This initiative was the result of a partnership between Projeto Malacate and the potential Cineclube, and we are very happy to conclude that it was a huge success.
