In Mértola and in the Mina de S. Domingos, local gastronomy is regularly celebrated with the events of the “À Noite no Mercado” project.

In the kitchen, at the counter or at the table, while cooking, eating or waiting, memories and stories are shared. These are the places where family, friends and even strangers meet.

It is through the telling of local stories (memories, myths or fantasies) and their theatricalization that we propose to temper the “À Noite no Mercado” to the taste of the Mina that existed, the Mina that exists and the Mina that we imagine.
